Rebecca Scirocco is a Mi’kmaw woman from Membertou First Nation.She is the proud mother of two young adults. Rebecca has two degrees from CBU: a Bachelor's Degree in Community Studies and a Bachelor ofEducation with a concentration in Mi’kmaw studies.She is currently working on Masters of Education inInclusive Education through St Francis Xavier University.

Rebecca is the Wellness Consultant for Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey. As the Wellness Consultant, she is responsible for providing programming, support and resources to help improve the health and well-being of our communities, educators, students and staff members. Our Wellness program is designed with a holistic approach using the medicine wheel to guide our directives.

Some of her personal interests include being out in nature hiking, painting, beadwork and travelling
