Justine has been with MK since January 2014 - she began her time with MK with various departments helping whomever required help at the time. She has assisted in work with Administration, Communications, Language, Literacy, Treaty Education, and Sport. Becoming a permanent employee in 2015, Justine received her certificate in Office Administration and continues to work to complete her Business Diploma. Justine began working as the Human Resources Officer in 2018, and has taken over the position of Director of Human Resources in 2022.
Prior to working with MK, Justine was the Executive Assistant for WICO project management.
Justine lives in Membertou with her partner Chan, two daughters and golden retriever. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family and attend her children's dance life, she also loves to read, drink tea, and over the last two years focused on learning the Mi'kmaw Language better. Justine and her family have a love for adventure and travel and have a special spot for Disney World.
