Kim is the Technology Integration Coach at Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey. You will see her in our MK schools working with both teachers and students encouraging the use of technology in lessons and learning.
She has over 20 years of teaching experience, with a Master’s Degree in Education focusing onMental Health. She spent the past 10 years teaching at Eskasoni Elementary Middle School and has taught in a range of grades, always using technology to assist in providing students with an up to date learning experience. Kim is a Google Certified Educator, Apple Teacher, and SeeSaw Ambassador. Some of Kim‘s responsibilities are providing professional development on technology related practices in education, coaching teachers in using technology in the classroom, and assisting with technology integrated lessons.
Outside of the office, Kim loves to craft and bake. She can be seen spending most of her down-time with her husband Sheldon and twins Clark and Marley.
