Kim is the Technology Integration Consultant at Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey. You will see her in our schools working with both teachers and students, encouraging the use of technology in lessons and learning. Kim works exclusively with MK schools.
She has over 20 years of teaching experience, with a Master’s Degree in Education focusing on Mental Health. She spent 10 years teaching in one of our community schools and has taught in a range of grades, always using technology to assist in providing students with an up-to-date learning experience. Kim is a Google Certified Educator, Apple Teacher, Certified Apple Learning Coach, Apple Distinguished Educator, and SeeSaw Certified Educator. Some of Kim‘s responsibilities are providing professional development on technology-related practices in education, coaching teachers in using technology in the classroom, and assisting with technology-integrated lessons.
Outside of the office, Kim loves to craft and bake. She can be seen spending most of her downtime with her family.
