We had numerous activities happening in our community with cultural significance to promote and engage in teaching our Mi’kmaq Language and culture to students, parents, elders and community members.
Success stories are the number of people and youth in the community that are utilizing the sewing room and making their own traditional regalia to dance at the community mawio’mi’s. We have heard from many community members and youth that they would never dance because they did not have a regalia.
