What is your name, what school do you attend, and what community are you from?

Nakirrah Howe, LSK, Sipekne'katik. 

What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?

POSSE, a youth group that does cooking for the food bank and training opportunities.

 

What’s your favourite subject in school?

Math.

 

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

Hawaii. The beaches, the water, even the hotels all look beautiful.

 

What do you like to do in your spare time?

 Shopping!

What are your plans for when you graduate, and why?

 Going to college or university, maybe a trade like construction equipment operator.

What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?

 Working and being a mother, maybe.

Do you have a role model? If so, who? And why?

My dad. He taught me fishing skills, life skills and encourages me to follow my dreams.

 

What is your best memory from your high school years?

 Mackie's funny stories about his life experiences.

What is the best thing about your school?

The high school teachers; we made some good memories. They are supportive and we can talk to them.

 

Who has made an impact on you?

 Mackie, he taught me how to laugh at life.

Is there something you'd like to see in your school or community that isn't there now?

School sports teams- like volleyball, soccer, basketball. It would be great to play with other schools.
