In August, MK launched an Orange Shirt Day Design Contest, inviting people of all ages from Mi’kmaw communities across Nova Scotia to share their creativity and submit a design.
We received many beautiful and meaningful submissions, making the selection a difficult one. Congratulations to our contest winner, Becky Bernard!
We are proud to wear Becky’s design on our Orange Shirt Day shirts this year and are grateful to everyone who took the time to participate and share their creativity.
