Graduation season is always a time of pride and celebration, and this year was no exception in Mi’kmaw communities across the province. Our graduates were honoured through heartfelt ceremonies, community feasts, and celebrations.
Families and community members came together to lift up our students, with many events featuring drumming, dancing, and traditional blessings. Elders and leaders shared words of encouragement, emphasizing the importance of education and the role our graduates will play in shaping a stronger future for Mi’kma’ki.
Whether walking across the stage or receiving certificates in the community, each graduate’s journey is a testament to perseverance, the support of families and communities, and the power of our youth. We extend our deepest congratulations to our graduates from K4 through to High School and their families. Your accomplishments inspire us all.
