Interview with a graduate - Michael Robinson-Thiebaux

What is your name, age, school, and what community are you from?

My name is Michael Robinson-Thiebaux, I am 18 years old and I am from Sipekne'katik. I attend school at Hantz East Rural High.


What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?

I played Rugby at my schools.


What’s your favourite subject in school?

My favourite subject is English.


If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

I would go anywhere as long as I make memories that will last forever.


What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to go to the gym.

What are your plans for when you graduate, and why? What do you see yourself doing ten years
from now?

I plan to work at the gym.


Do you have a role model? If so, who? And why?

My role model is my uncle Guy. He inspires me to go to the gym and I wish to be as strong as him some day.


What is your best memory from your high school years?

My best memory from high school was when we went to play rugby in PEI.


What is the best thing about your school?

The best thing about my school are the people who go there.


Who has made an impact on you?

My mom has made the biggest impact on me.


Is there something you'd like to see in your school or community that isn't there now?

I wish there was a rugby team.

I would like to thank every single person that made any positive impact on my life.
