What is your name, age, school, and what community are you from?
My name is Larry Stevens. I am 18 years old and go to ABMHS.I am from Eskasoni First Nation
What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?
I was on the Soccer team and am a Mi'kmaq apprentice worker.
What’s your favourite subject in school?
My favourite subject is Math.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?
I would go to Cuba, because it’s very nice and hot there and it would be nice to be there in person on the beaches.
What do you like to doin your spare time?
In my spare time I mostly play games with my friends, or walk up to the cross
What are your plans for when you graduate, and why? What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?
Okay so, after I graduate my plan is to take a year off and work that whole year. While I work I'm saving up for my own car to take myself to NSCC which I will hopefully attend in the electrician course.
Do you have a role model? If so, who? And why?
My role model is my grandad, because he's always wanted me to finish high school and get to college and that's what I'm doing after my gap year.
What is your best memory from your high school years?
My best memory was definitely my grade 9 year because there was no covid and I kinda had the high school experience but it was a fun year not wearing a mask.
Who has made an impact on you?
I think the person who has made an impact on me would be Liam because he interacts with students more and almost makes me feel like he's my friend in a way.
