We held a University Prep conference in partnership with StFX for grade 12 students this month. Eighteen students joined us for the 2-day conference which offered students an opportunity to tour the campus, stay in residence, and meet indigenous advisors from universities across the province. They also took part in workshops about budgeting, went bowling and made medicine bags.
At the end of the conference, the students had an opportunity to win some amazing door prizes! We will be offering a similar conference again next year and hope to have even more students join us.
