Seventeen students from the Mi’kmaw Cohort at Horton High School spent the day at Camp Brigadoon planning for the school year, taking part in cultural activities and, most importantly, connecting with one another.
The gathering was a wonderful opportunity to build friendships, celebrate Mi’kmaw culture and strengthen the sense of belonging at the heart of the cohort. It was a great way to begin the year together!
