What is your name, what school do you attend, and what community are you from?
My name Keeya Catherine Lynn Googoo, I attended We’kowmaq mi’kmaq school and I am from Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia.
What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?
I have been involved in judo for fitness
What’s your favourite subject in school?
My favourite subjects are Biology and Physics.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?
If I could go anywhere in the world, I would visit Mauritania to see the Iron Ore Train and Egypt to learn more about its history and see the
pyramids.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new places and spending time outdoors
What are your plans for when you graduate, and why?
I am not completely sure what I want to do after graduation yet, but I plan to explore different opportunities and find a career that interests me.
What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?
In ten years, I see myself working in a career that I am passionate about and enjoying a successful future.
Do you have a role model? If so, who? And why?
At the moment, I do not have one specific role model. I admire people who work hard, stay determined, and achieve their goals.
What is your best memory from your high school years?
My best memory from high school has been meeting new friends and creating lasting memories with them.
What is the best thing about your school? Who has made an impact on you?
The best thing about my school is the supportive environment and the people who make it feel welcoming. My teachers, friends, and family have all made a positive impact on me by encouraging me and helping me grow.
Is there something you'd like to see in your school or community that isn't there now?
I would like to see more people involved in the community. Having more community events and activities would help bring everyone together and create a stronger sense of connection.

My favourite quote is, “Life is a beach, enjoy the wave.” Thank you to my family, friends, and teachers for their support and encouragement throughout my school years.
