What is your name, what school do you attend, and what community are you from?
My name is LB, or Lily-Beth Fisher, I attended Kings-Edgehill School in Windsor NS, and I'm from Glooscap First Nation.
What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?
I was the Council head of the Arts Council, I was also a part of the DEI and Eco-council. I was a part of the Varsity Snowboarding team and a part of the Varsity Girls Rugby team in my senior year.
What’s your favourite subject in school?
Law or History
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?
Europe, but more specifically Germany. I have lots of friends there that I met from school and love the sites and architecture.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Anything creative, reading, walking my dog, gardening, travelling and exploring.
What are your plans for when you graduate, and why?
I plan to attend Acadia University for my Bachelors in Arts, majoring in Law and Societies. Then apply to McGill for my LLB or JD
What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?
Either finishing my LLB or JD, or actively practicing Law in a job.
Do you have a role model? If so, who? And why?
My mom, she's so strong, supportive, smart, kind, skillful, and I aspire to be like her.
What is your best memory from your high school years?
Hanging out with my friends going on trips, especially traveling to snowboard at Jay Peak Vermont or Mount Tremblant in Quebec!
What is the best thing about your school?
The opportunities is allows for students to thrive and become the best they can. Their strong support between teachers and students help them become better, me included. And the mandatory sports offer new chances to try things, pursue interests and make more connections!

My parents, my family, my friends, school, and my community.
Do you have any words of advice, a personal favourite quote, or a thank-you?
I want to thank my parents, they've given me all the support and opportunity I needed to become the best I can. These 12 years are not just a celebration of me, but a testament to your hard work as well. I love you so much. To my friends, you shaped me into a better person, and gave me memories that will last me forever, you're my family too and I'll miss you guys.
