What is your name, what school do you attend, and what community are you from?
My name is Peter "Reece" Dennis, I attend Millwood High School, and I'm from Eskasoni First Nation.
What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?
I was apart of the L'nu Kamakn Ski & Snowboard program.
What’s your favourite subject in school?
My favourite subject in school is chemistry.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?
Scotland, I went in March and it's so beautiful over there, very similar weather but prettier landscapes.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to bead, cook, bake, go fishing, go camping, going to the movies with my friends, skiing and snowboarding in the wintertime.
What are your plans for when you graduate, and why?
I am going to Dalhousie for the Medical Sciences program, so I can eventually get into medical school to be a doctor.
What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?
I see myself 2 years into my residency as a doctor preferably at the Halifax Infirmary.
What is your best memory from your high school years?
My best memory is giving a territorial welcome in front of my whole school for an assembly about National Indigenous History Month.
What is the best thing about your school?
The best thing about my school is my Mi'kmaq/Indigenous student support worker Treena Osmond.
