What is your name, what school do you attend, and what community are you from?
My name is Trent Simon, I am from We’koqma’q First Nation. I have recently Graduated from the We’koqma’q Mi’kmaw School.
What clubs, teams, or groups are you involved in at school, and after-school?
I am involved in the White Bear drum group which takes place in and out of school.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favourite subject is Math
If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
I would go to japan to experience another disney and their culture.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I play pool and collect pokemon cards.
What are your plans when you graduate and why?
I will attend NSCC Port Hawkesbury in the Carpentry Program.
What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
10 years from now I want to be working in carpentry.
Do you have a role model? If so, who? Why?
My role model is Elliot Gould - He is my spiritual guidance elder in my community. He has taught me about my spiritual journey and life lessons.
What is your best memory from your high school years?
Hanging out with my best friends everyday.
What is the best thing about your school?
The people in the school. They are all good people.
Who has made an impact on you?
My grandmothers Anna and Wilma.
Is there something you’d like to see in your school or community that isn’t there now?
I would love to see more sporting opportunities.
