We recently hosted a Coming to Circle gathering for teachers, Grade 12 students, and Knowledge Keepers at the Debert Cultural Centre. Over the course of the event, participants came together in a meaningful way to learn, reflect, and connect through culture and community.
The gathering included a variety of activities such as a New Moon Ceremony, a sunrise ceremony, land-based workshops, and an Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) workshop, along with many other shared teachings and experiences. Being together in this space allowed for deep learning, storytelling, and relationship-building across generations.
We are grateful to the Knowledge Keepers, facilitators, teachers, and students who helped make this gathering such a powerful and grounding experience.
