Congratulations to the first cohort of Mi’kmaw Human Resources program graduates!
After two years of hard work, dedication, and balancing full-time employment while studying through NSCC, these graduates completed their program this spring. On June 17th, we held a banquet at the Delta in Dartmouth. Each grad was given a hoodie, homemade quilt, and a small stipend as a gift to honour their incredible efforts.
Two special awards were also presented at the event. The first, a leadership award, went to Jolly Stevens, who continually motivated and supported his peers throughout the program. The second award was presented to Lorna Christmas, who persevered through personal hardships to complete the program in excellent academic standing.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work and are thrilled to celebrate their success.
