L’nu Sipuk Kina’muokuom (LSK) School held its annual Bass Fishing Derby on the Stewiacke River this month, bringing students and staff together for a fun-filled day on the water. The event is one of the favourite outdoor education experiences that the school holds throughout the year. It gives students the chance to connect with nature, practice traditional skills, and enjoy friendly competition.
There are prizes for biggest fish, smallest fish and most fish caught in the day, along with many door prizes. As always, it was a fantastic day on the river!
