Our Mentor Apprentice groups came together for their second gathering this month. One of the activities the participants took part in involved learning about the calendar and the names for each month. The participants then created a vision board for the year using the calendar. They really enjoyed having the opportunity to be creative while planning their language learning journey.
The group also took some time to focus on the root words in the Mi'kmaw Language. They talked about why it is important to know and how it can help them expand their language base.
