Students from Wagmatcook, We’koqma’q, and Allison Bernard Memorial High School (ABMHS) came together for MK’s second annual high school cross country race, held at Goat Island in Eskasoni. The first race took place in Millbrook.
A total of 17 students participated in the 2 km race, with eight students also taking on the 4 km challenge.
It was wonderful to see students enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Goat Island while staying active and connecting with students from other communities.
Congratulations to all the students who participated and challenged themselves on the course. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s race a success!
