The Mi'kmaw Sport Council of Nova Scotia is now accepting nominations for the Mi'kmaq Sport Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame was created to enhance the awareness and importance of the historical and cultural component of sport within the Aboriginal community of Nova Scotia and recognize and celebrate outstanding sport achievements and contributions of Nova Scotia Aboriginals.
Nominations are open to both athletes and builders. The award winners will be announced on November 23rd during the MK Sport Summit. The deadline to apply is October 29th. To nominate someone please visit: https://mikmaqsports.ca/nominate/
