We released our 2025 Annual Report during our Annual General Assembly on October 10th. We were honoured to showcase the many positive developments in Mi’kmaw education across the province. Mi'kmaw Language and Culture

Yolanda Denny hosted the Mi'kmaw Language Educators Networking day on Saturday, October 25, at the MTCC.  Mi'kmaw language teachers, teacher aides, student aides, and some K-P teachers who use language in their classrooms attended the session. The focus of the day was using Quizlet and Blooket and was presented by Angela Christmas of Miawpukek.  Angela uses these apps to teach the language and she has found that her students learn to read and speak Mi'kmaw faster than any other teaching method she has used before.  The language educators were very interested in the presentation and are looking forward to creating their own games for their students.
