Our recent Principals’ Retreat held at the Inverary Inn on January 23-25, offered school leaders a meaningful opportunity to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities and come together in a supportive, relaxed setting. Throughout the retreat, principals took part in drum-making and 8 point star making. These hands-on cultural activities allowed them to take part in activities that they often coordinate for their students but never have the opportunity to do themselves.

The retreat also created space for open conversations about the successes and challenges principals are experiencing in their own schools. Through shared dialogue, participants exchanged ideas, learned from one another’s experiences, and strengthened relationships across the network.

Equally important was the chance to simply slow down, connect, and recharge. The retreat provided valuable time for networking, relaxation, and renewed energy as principals return to their schools feeling supported and inspired.
