The 2024 Waltes World Championship was hosted in the community of Millbrook. We had 2 fantastic days of competition where a new champion was crowned!

On June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, delivered a funding announcement that helps to improve access to education and close infrastructure gaps for Mi'kmaw students in Nova Scotia.
